How it's made
Grain to packet — seven steps, one roof.
Follow a single grain of wheat through our mill in Kendujhar. Every photo below is from our own floor.
Wheat comes in
Sacks of whole wheat are tipped into the intake pit. A bucket elevator lifts the grain up into the cleaning line — no hand-sorting, no dust in the air.

Sieved & cleaned
A vibrating separator shakes the wheat over layered screens. Small stones, mud balls and straw drop out — only clean, whole grain moves ahead.

Air-blown, husk out
The aspirator pulls a strong draft of air through the falling grain. Light husk and fine dust fly off into the dust collector; heavy, clean wheat drops through.

Ground slow on stone
The heart of Padma: twin stone chakkis turning steadily. Grain is crushed between two stones — not torn at high speed — so the atta stays cool and keeps its bran, aroma and taste.

Sifted to the right feel
The sifter gyrates the warm flour through stacked sieves. Fine atta falls through; coarse bits go back to the stones. The result is even, soft atta — every pack.

Fine milling line
A separate pulverizer line mills besan, sooji and maida. Its fast rotor gives each product its own fineness — from velvety besan to clean, even sooji granules.

Good to know
Is your atta really stone-ground?
Yes. After cleaning, the wheat is ground on our stone chakkis at the Kendujhar mill — you can see them in the photos and the mill video on this page.
Do you add any chemical or preservative?
No. It is only cleaned whole grain, ground, sifted and packed. No chemical, no preservative.
How do I order online?
Pick a product and pack size in the shop, add it to the cart and check out. Pay by UPI, card or net banking through Razorpay, or choose cash on delivery.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free on orders above ₹499. Below that a small delivery charge is added at checkout. Enter your pincode on any product page to check delivery.
